Zones Issues
« on: May 16, 2012, 11:03:52 pm »

I have set up three zones on my server and have really enjoyed it.  Playing from a playlist works just fine, however, I have several questions.

1. What is the best way to create a Connected Media website and play it to a specific zone?  Have created a link to Pandora and it works most of the time, but not all of the time.
2. How can you specify the zone you want to send it to?
3. Can you set up the ability to provide login information for sites requiring credentials?
4. Is there a way to control connected media from Gizmo or the other remotes?

Havent started playing with video, but MC really looks great!

Thanks for any advice anyone can provide.

Welcome.

You can only control and target zones with music played by our internal playback engine.

This means if you find a URL to an MP3 or M3U, it will work.

If you play inside a browser (like Pandora that uses Shockwave), it bypasses our audio engine and will only talk to the default sound device.
