Video on WebGizmo
« on: May 17, 2012, 02:15:02 pm »

Took some time to properly configure my network for WebGizmo (was defaulting to a NAS connected direct) and now videos just show spinning wheel like they are loading and won't play.

Everything seems to be set up properly, thumbs build fast on this 50 video playlist I made, and those videos play back fin on server.

Thanks Jim, I'm on an iPad and I had the same problem using a Windows 7 client until I changed its Network settings to NONE for Video transcoding.

Maybe this means I have a problem on the server, but one question:

How can we define what to transcode to for devices running WebGizmo like the iPad? The Network settings are only for the client correct?

Okay, so installed Quicktime Lite (this is a new build) and now I can get the one mp4 video to play to the iPad. All other formats just time out...

Diggin WebGizmo, hoping to get it all sorted. Am I doing something wrong?
