CD writer is not detected

I cannot burn CD's -- CD Writer Settings from Options allows me only to select "Use Internal ASPI Layer" but all other options are grayed-out.  It seems I need to select "Detect" CD writer as I have already done in the past successfully but this does nothing.  Please help -- I just want to burn CD's.

Try MC9, it's burner is newer
