Welcome.

Use Gadgets > Search to search the library for audio, images, and videos (it only searches things that are imported into the library).

Use Video > Guide > Search to search television listings.

Does that help?

I think you just found a bug.

We'll try to get it fixed for the next build.

Sorry for the trouble.

When will the next release be rolled out?

It has to be fixed, then tested.  Then it will be rolled out to the public on this board.

So check back here later this week.

I noticed different results between search (audio) in standard view and search gadget in theater view.
Theater view misses many results.
Is this going to be fixed?

The search suggestions in Standard View (the popup on the search box) are the most similar to Theater View.  Only the best 10 or so matches will be shown.

I still think there is a bug in the Gadgets->Search function of Theater View.

For example, the other day, I was searching for the song "Yellow Submarine", so in Theater View I typed "subm" and there was only one file listed ("Yellow Submarine" from the album "Beatles in Classics"), whereas when I used the search in Standard View, when typing the same first letters "subm", I saw one suggestion "Yellow Submarine (name)", with 2 albums listed below ( "Revolver" and "Beatles in Classics") with the exact song "Yellow Submarine", and another album ("Retrospectacles: The Best Of Thomas Dolby"), with a song named "One Of Our Submarines".

In brief: in Standard View, when searching "subm", I saw 3 songs/files in the results, whereas in Theater View, with the same search string, I only saw one result (and that wasn't the one I was looking for... !).

So, here it is not a question of "best 10 or so matches" : the Theater View search results are clearly incomplete...
