Playing SACD ISO
« on: June 09, 2012, 09:32:17 pm »

I have a 32/384 compatible DAC and driver. If I leave sample rate unchanged in DSP studio, music sounds as if in slow motion, so I have to change "Greater than 192,000 Hz" option to 192,000 and it sounds OK. Does anyone know why is it like tha?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome.

It sounds like the hardware isn't properly supporting 384.

You might try a different output mode in Options > Audio.  This has our recommendations:

If that still doesn't work, you might ask the maker of your DAC.  We'd be happy to work with them if needed.

I can't get wasapi-event style to play with my Musical Fidelity V-Link (version 1), I have the output down/up sampling everything to 96kHz.  DirectSound mode does work though..........any thoughts on why wasapi doesn't work?
