I have 2 or 3 TV recordings now where the TV show plays back fine (everything in sync) until I get a few minutes into the show then I see some pixilation (blocks) for a second and the video and audio get out of sync (by about 1 second). I tried jumping ahaead, jumping back, pausing, and starting and resuming but I can not get the show back in sync. If I start from the beginning everything will be in sync until I hit the same place in the show then goes out of sync again.
I assume the recording has a flaw due to it being an O-T-R but there is really not much evidence of it being a weak signal issue. The pixilation only happens for a second but its enough to mess up the audio-video sync. Maybe my hardware is causing it. Although the video-audio is out of sync by a second, the video picture is clear and the audio is clear.
Should MC try to reestablish/verify the audio-video is in sync multiple times while its playing, or does it just sync up once at the begining of playback and not check again afterwards?
