Ports

Hi,
What ports does Media Jukebox use and what for?
I need to know this to allow access on my firewall.
I'm sure other users with firewalls will find this useful too.

Believe its 80, with 81 as a fallback. At least it is on mine. I run ZA.

It uses other additional ports as well for getting images from the internet. I've had hits on my firewall from it but even though I aloud some ports I obviously didn't get all of them because getting the image fails when I leave the firewall on.

Nila,
You're asking for a level of detail we don't usually provide.  In this case, though, we use port 80 for everything in the latest builds of 8.  CDDB may use something else.  Not sure.

Thanks Jim.
I wouldn't have asked if I didn't need to but in order to keep my computer safe I have to know which ports to open up to which program on the firewall.
I didn't think something like this would be a problem to let users know.
I'll allow it through on port 80 then and thanks.
