AFAICT, it's only restricting the list to those fields for which the selected files have data...

13. Changed: The 'Clean File Properties' and 'Find & Replace' library tools use the same field picker as 'Paste Tags', which removes fields that are empty or irrelevant for the selected files.
14. Changed: Find & Replace remembers the find, replace, and case sensitive options between uses (selected fields have always been remembered).

However. I have tried to modify the field Filename (Path) and Filename (Name) and those fields are missing.
For example
A:\singles. all pop. dance. rock. r&b\Play & Win\Play & Win -  [2010]\ into A:\singles. all pop. dance. rock. r&b\Play & Win\Play & Win - [2010]\ (remove the extra spaces)
and
PLAY & WIN  - Ya Bb into PLAY & WIN - Ya Bb (remove the extra spaces)

How can i bring back this fields? There is an extra-option? to Customize this? Because i didnt find yet... Where can i look for this, if there is any...
before the changes (build 145) everything was ok... but now...
i really need this back.
mabe i am too stupid and i didnt get it...
please explain me.
how MC decides to removes fields that are empty or irrelevant for the selected files.

9. Changed: Find & Replace no longer allows making filename changes (which move files). Use the find & replace feature in Rename, Move, & Copy Files instead.

ok. i understand this.
But i used this function because when i rename a file with an expression like this for example:
A:\singles. all pop. dance. rock. r&b\FixCase([Artist], 0)
FixCase([Artist], 0) - [Album,0] [[Year,0]]
[Artist][Artist 2,0] - [Name]

media center will always put in the name or files and folders double spaces.
So fix this please.

With Clean file propertis i used to correct that problem.

Ok. I used find & replace function and i just replaced ”two spaces” with ”one space” and it worked. Thanks!

Hi Mihai,

Is that really the exact expression?  It seems to duplicate some fields...

The double spaces would be a result of some field (such as [Album]) being empty.  MC doesn't add additional spaces.

If you can clarify, I (or someone) will provide you with an expression that works correctly.
