I am not sure that I understand the tag/library thing completely. If I rip a CD and manually change a tag, such as "genre" do I then need to click on "update library from tags" to save this information permanently? Sorry for the dumb question, but if I update a tag manually, where else would it be saved if not in the library?
Part 2 of this question, if I back up the library, does it save all of the tags that I changed manually?
Thanks for any help, I just want to be sure that after ripping and updating 3,000 CDs, that I don't lose all of the hours I spent correcting the tags.
