whan start ripping . mc17  180 think that  a cd track is currently playing.
in the screen cuptured i add you can see that nothing is playing !

Looks to me like track # 4 is currently playing, at 2:33 of 7:07 ?

this is because it was selected . but you can see it is not playing if you notice that the play\pause button is on the pause status.
3 seconds before it was playing and this is the bug : mc17 180  think it is still playing ( same as you )

I think that even though the player is paused, it will still be accessing the disc, hence the warning.

Exactly.  Technically the paused state is more like playback than not (the sound card is open, the file is open, etc.).

Just press the 'Stop' button when you're done playing.
