Avoid Analyzing Certain Audio Files?
« on: July 19, 2012, 05:56:52 am »

Is there a way to avoid analyzing a specific audio file during auto-import? I've got a SPEC-DTS .wav file that MC just doesn't seem to be able to handle. (It just gets stuck on the file during auto-import, then when I hit the "Stop" button nothing happens until MC stops responding altogether.) In this case, I don't care too much if the file gets analyzed though, so I would be fine if I could mark it in some way so that this doesn't happen every time auto-import runs. Is this possible to do?

Please send me a sample of the file that causes problems.  I'm matt at jriver dot com.

Thanks for the file.

I'm able to both play and analyze it.

Make sure you have all files set to 'Automatic' in Options > File Types.  Does that help?
