Hi I'm new to the program and still diving into all the features. On iTunes I used this script which can append or prepend text to a comment (or any tag) without changing all the tags if they're different. It's extremely useful when tagging lots of files. Maybe there's a plugin or a way to do this?

To change a field, you can use either of the following methods:

  - In-column editing
  - Tag Action Window, to

Select your files, and enter the new value.  To have MC evaluate the entry as an expression so that the contents of the existing field can be used, prepend an = character to the value and use the field name in the expression.  Example:

  =New comment text prepended here: [Comment]
  =[Comment] New comment text appended here
  =[Date] [Comment]
