I've had this problem for months and months, so I'm assuming others aren't having it and it's just me.
The player window doesn't display anything. If I go into theater view everything is fine, but in the actual standard window view, display is always black, or just holding the image of "play doctor" or whatever was on the screen before in that area.
Anyone else having this problem? Several versions have come out since I first reported this. Detaching the display also just shows black.
