Indeed, but I'd prefer they didn't say a week or two when it's actually 3+.
Chico:
Keep in mind that when MC18 Does make it's debut, there will be some bugs. MC17 is the current stable build.
Chico:
To those above that didn't understand my previous post..
--- Quote from: Chico on September 08, 2012, 08:47:29 pm ---Yup! They're eating brats. This euphoria must last them all year.
Good Job JR Team. Keep it up and more brats are in your future (along with World Peace).

This explosion in sales is a very good thing for JRiver. However, it's sort of like Christmas for other retailers. This is the time when MC sales will determine how JRiver's year will go. They may be selling like hotcakes now, but it will slow down. Once it does (usually when the price goes to normal), the euphoria that they have been experiencing will dissipate and revenue will slow down. Therefor, this must last them all year. If the sales weren't as good, they will be celebrating with Pork-&-Beans next time.
J-a-k-e:
Pork-&-Beans? I hope not. I get the feeling that Jim and the team have a huge amount of ideas for future JRiver versions that haven't even been touched upon yet, let alone what other members have posted in the forums.
I'm interested to see where things are headed in a year or so once Media Center has been established in the Mac an Linux communities.
Going off the stereotype here - certain program elements may need to be simplified and automated to keep mac users happy. And I can imagine certain users in the linux community being initially reluctant to pay until they see the feature list.. I wonder if there's going to be a media jukebox for linux too.
