Just gets better and better...most important software on my server!

I finally am getting around to set up my online stations in MC17 and have some issues?

I am unable to play Lossless radio streams (Flac) in MC17.
This for example: http://radio.cesnet.cz:8000/cro-d-dur.flac
I have a 30MB BB connection with a fast network so no performance issues.
I get the standard "Something went wrong with playback" message.
I have no problems playing Flac from the server, is it a different setting I have to enable in options to get streaming Flac working properly?

Also, I have set up a playlist for "Online Radio" which is a cool way to list my stations, but I read on the Wiki about the Web Media page?
I cannot access it the way the Wiki suggests as I do not have the Media Library > Web Media option in my tree.
Curious about trying this but cant.

Am I missing something obvious about these two issues?

thanks.

Not sure about streaming flac.

I think MC16 had them also.  I don't have that version in front of me, so don't recall if the instructions I gave are incorrect for that version.  In one of the not-too-distant versions, the location of the radio station URLs changed to Connected Media.  I think they used to be under Services & Plugins.

Has any one been able to get the Czech ogg-flac stream to play? I get the same error from MC 18 (v112) "Something went wrong with playback".

ogs,

I think your link is missing its tail...

If I go to http://amp.cesnet.cz
I get a page with the links to various streams. The flac stream should be: http://amp.cesnet.cz:8000/cro-d-dur.flac.m3u
Now, this never opens for me, MC simply proclaims "opening..." but never starts playing.

The ogg stream begins almost instantly: http://amp.cesnet.cz:8000/cro-d-dur-256.ogg.m3u
* marko is listeng to: 'HTTP Stream' by '(Unassigned)' from the album '(Unassigned)' [Duration:  |  kbps ogg () | rated ? stars/5 | first time played (Imported 19 January 2013)
It's playing classical music.

Hi,

I've used the m3u link for ogg-flac, but no luck. I linked to this thread in MC18 forum and Matt has confirmed that this does not work. He has put it on his to-do list.
It is the uncompressed flac stream I am interested in, not the lossy ogg -- even if it is 256.

Thanks for the input
