Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF)
« on: October 10, 2012, 01:12:23 pm »

Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) is this weekend at the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel (October 12-14).  It's one of the biggest audio shows of the year.

I'm going to be at the show Saturday and Sunday.  I'm part of two seminars:

Saturday 4:00pm-6:00pm at Aspen Amphitheater
DSD: Hardware and Software Meet, An Update

Sunday 1:15pm-2:00pm at Aspen Amphitheater
DLNA/UPnP Audio over the Network

The rest of the time I'll be wandering around trying to not spend my lunch money on audio gear.

It would be great to meet any of you at the show.

In day-to-day life, I almost never bump into anybody that uses JRiver.  So it's really fun to go to a place where a bunch of people know (and some even like!) what we do.

So if you happen to live in the area, or were looking for a fun weekend road-trip, come out to the show.

Hope to see some of you there!

How did the show go? I would think there would have been a lot more interest in DSD rather than DLNA since this show caters to the two channel enthusiast.

Any particular room that you liked the best? I saw that someone had the new Emotiva Stealth 8 speakers among the 10 best rooms they attended (which was less than half of all the rooms). I learned at RMAF that price is no indicator of performance.
