Problem with video "fit window" mode
« on: October 14, 2012, 03:45:19 pm »

Hello,

Still learning a bit about MC17, and it seems i've encountered a problem.

Anytime when I watch a video whose resolution doesn't match my monitor (1920x1080), and the 'fit window' mode is slected, the video becomes jerky.  Audio is fine, but it looks like I"m losing frames.

If "100%" is selected, there's no problems.

I've tried enabling/disabling hardware accelleration to no effect.

Any advise?

Upon further testing, I'm losing a lot of frames with ROHQ, in general.

Setting the video to simply RO has fixed the dropped frames.

Strange though, since the HTPC has plenty of power.  Nvidia 9400 integrated graphics and a QX9650 (3ghz)...  CPU load is never above 10%, hardware accellerated or not...

Problem seems to be with displaying 720p videos in 'fit window' mode
