Hi, is there a way to integrate BBC iplayer inot theater view? I'd assume a lot of UK users would be interested in this function. Cheers. John

Is there any kind of API or SDK?

Doing it without this leads to integrations that require updates whenever the site changes, and so are a little more maintenance intensive than I like.

+1 for on-demand TV / film services for the UK market.

These are integrated into pretty much every new TV, bluray player, console and satellite / cable box for the UK these days, so I can't imagine it's too complicated or that the goalposts move too much.

The XBMC plugins worked well too from what I remember.

I suggest you email Dave Price who is the head honcho for iplayer at the BBC.

Dave.Price atsign bbc.co.uk

maybe he can help? 'Wider Audience' and 'New Devices' are buzzwords on the BBC technology blogs over the past few months. New players for iPhone/android/tablets etc as well as integration into the Sky service STB (main PayTV in the UK) for the first time.

Who knows they may be receptive to helping out?
