16 bit will only output in 24 bit
« on: October 30, 2012, 01:02:02 pm »

I'm using a DCS Debussy DAC with WASAPI Event Style.

When I try to play 16/44 files, JRMC18 will only allow me to get sound when I output in 24 bit.

When I try to change DSP Studio to 16 bit, JRMC18 tells me it won't play with that setting.

How do I get JRMC18 to output in the same bit and sampling rate as what I input?

Thanks,

Joel

Many of the best DACs only work in 24bit mode.  This is good, and not a reason for concern.

Matt,

I never cease to be amazed at quickly you guys respond to messages for help.

It's a strong added benefit to using MC.

Thanks so much for your response.
