Do all clients and servers need there own individual Ports?
« on: November 11, 2012, 08:25:14 pm »

if a household has multiple jriver pc's do all pc's need there own ports?

Or can we just open up one port (52198) and all jriver pc's would use that port?
thanks

In general, multiple PC's can share the same port for communicating.

ok thanks... the reason i ask is, if may be I'm having network issues(ports not opened properly on router) or if my media network settings/dlna etc. may be setup wrong in my jriver media network on all pc's.
