Is there a "settings" file?
« on: November 11, 2012, 11:20:07 am »

I've recently gone Windows 8 with a clean install. I do however have all my previous flies, programs and all, accessible to me via the windows.old folder. So my question is this; is there some file I can locate and drag'n'drop that contains all my Media Center settings? I had views and links set up towards my tastes and it would be convenient if didn't have to do it all over.

Thanks in advance :)

MC does backups of libraries and settings.  (And you can do backups yourself.) You can restore your library from a backup file and get your settings back.

The location of the Library Backup files is specified in the Tools/Options/File Location dialog.
