just purchased MC 17 but ?

It said mc18 & I don't know if it went through or not ,I wanted MC17 NOT 18 I have the very latest MC17 TRIAL version it seems to work well & really only want to keep what i already have installed ( as I don't want any changes to what I have now as if it tries to change or update it will fail due to my poor internet connection) I installed at a different location ,different connection. How do I know what is going on ? am I good now ?  I got a lot of work in this I don't want to do again . I had 12 days left on my trial & I have a registration code that I got in my E-mail .

When you purchase MC17 or MC18, you receive an MC18 license that works with either version.  This has been the case for several months.

 I just came back to say "I think" I figured it out

It"s reassuring to have a prompt reply.
