I would like to use my new 27-inch monitor, now there is place for a big Action Window - Tag window.
But I cannot resize the category column, it's fixed.
Is there a workaround with manipulation of the skin?
Could it be changed to a resizable column width?

That fields is a manual addition to your database or you do something automatic, if so, i want to know it

And for your question, it seems that area have a limit because you can increase the size of tag but that area stay the same.

Those are user-created fields.  See the list by expanding the Tag Action Window to Show All Tags, or look here:

Yes, those fields are userdefined, filled with the help of an external program MP3tag with selfwritten websources script. But perhaps you know that Rovi / AllMusicGuide does not like that, so I can not make this available, sorry.

Ah, sad news, that mean, i still use in manual tagging, because i don't know another solution for now, and thanks for the short answer.

In addition to not being resizable, the tooltip on mouse hover is not available any more. See comparison from MC17 to MC18:

The tooltip works for me in MC18, but: It doesn't show the tag-name, it shows the content of the tag.
Makes no sense there.

FWIW it does show the tag field name for me:



and also on a custom field.

This has already been requested several times. It‘s ridiculous to see this column on a widescreen display  without the  possibility to resize. Are there any serious reasons why this is not implemented?
