We are using bitstreaming and have set the volume in mc to disabled yet when we start a show it is very load, then it goes quiet.
any ideas??

Check Tools/Options/Video, under General Video Settings, Adaptive Volume. What is is set to? If its not set to Light or Off, try setting it one of those.

If you bitstream, it can only be your receiver changing the sound. That's the point.
