Anyone know why I can't play mkv's from j rivers using library from another system. When I try and open it, it plays for a second and then closes immediately. This only happens when using the J rivers program.
When I try and access it through the browser, and through the android program "Gizmo". But it won't play from the j rivers app itself. I went and installed j rivers onto another computer and I come across the same problem.
I am using J Rivers 18.0.74 on both the server and the client ends. This was happening on both Windows 7, and Windows 8. I found a similar thread at
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=75663.0 that has a similar issue. I haven't tried it through my dlna server like mentioned on that thread. All other formats like avi, and mp4 seem to play alright.
Any thoughts on what could be the problem. It almost feels like there is a problem with the program itself.
