As first described below, I'm having problems updating relational fields on albums that contain stack members. If I update a relational field when the stacks are collapsed, the tag eventually reverts back to previous entry; it might take seconds, or as long as several hours.
Relational tags update normally when the stacks are expanded (although if I collapse them shortly after updating the tag it will still revert back).
The original files are stored on a NAS, while the Conversion Cache is stored on the server.
Is this a bug? Some sort of corruption in my database? Any help would be appreciated; I'm really scratching my head on this one.
I'm running into a weird problem using stacks and relational fields.
Here's the scenario.
I use the handheld sync feature, set to always convert, to create a converted file. This creates a stacked file in the same folder as the original with 'cache audio custom' appended to the file name.
With the stack collapsed, I edit a relational field. Several minutes later, the field changes back to the original value. Only relational fields revert, and only if the stack was collapsed.
Can anyone reproduce this?
