MC18 and Audio buttons on the keyboard
« on: December 17, 2012, 05:26:16 am »

Dell Precision M6500 - Windows 8
Media Center 18.0.94

With my M6500 the audio buttons (up, down and mute) on the keyboard always act on MC (any view and any configuration of the volume).

Can I configure the application volume in MC (standard view) and use the keypad buttons on the system volume?

I experience the same on Windows 8 x64. At first i thought it was on my keyboard's drivers side (Logitech G15 Gen.1) But since you have the same problem as i have, then it might be MC.

MC has a Media Keys setting.  Try the Search window in settings.

I found media key mode and with the parameter set disable / app-command, the keypad buttons are again available to the operating system  :)  .

What is the meaning of the three parameters disable / app command / hot Keys?   ?

thanks
