I have/had MC16.  Had issues with Windows 8, so uninstalled it.  Tried to Recover but Windows is asking how to open the MJR file that was downloaded.  what is an MJR file and what do I do with it now that I have it?

Then I want to upgrade to MC18.  I presume I can do this as soon as I reinstall MC16?  Is there another way to just go direct to MC18?  I do have my MC16 reg. code.  Thx.

Thanks for thinking of upgrading.

I would do it in this order:
1) Install MC18
2) Install the MC16 license using MC18
3) Upgrade from inside MC18 (just make sure you see the upgrade price)
