assigning media types to a specific output hardware

Is it possible to have 2 channel audio play through a usb dac, and multichannel audio from a DVD or Blueray movie utilize a sound card without having to choose the device every time I switch between the above listed media.

I believe you can do this with the new ZoneSwitch feature in Media Center 18.
