New computer/New install

When i open media center 18, I get message:This data base will open in read only mode.Any changes will be lost when program exits...  I hit OK....Then media center opens... I get message: ... The web browser engine is not working properly. Please try the website,or download and install the latest version of media center.

I dont know how or what is meant by : Try the website. And I think I have the latest version installed.

Any help?

18.0.104 is at the top of this board.  Try downloading and installing.  Reboot first.
