Covert art has an "Episode URL" in the tags, how to remove/fix?
« on: January 03, 2013, 01:50:37 pm »

I still have some issues where some media files get an "Episode URL" appended into their tags, and they they show up in the "Downloaded Podcasts" list.  I've figured out how to remove this tag from the audio files with an mp3 tag editor, but one of these files is actually a jpg (cover art), and I don't know of any way to remove the "Episode URL" tag from this file.  It's not a huge deal, I can live without this file, or live with it having the unnecessary tag, but it would be good to fix it.

Also, it would be great if MC would not add this uneditable tag to files for some unknown reason ;)

Select the files, Export as MPL Playlist (Media Center only), selecting Output Range as Selection.

Edit the file and delete the Episode URL.

Remove the file's library entry from MC and then from its Removed database.

Import the MPL file.
