Hi

I just got my Sony Xperia P and Gizmo isn't working correctly.

After installation i enter in the key to my server and also the username and password.

The problem comes now instead of getting my icons so i can choose video, audio, images and more i just get a black page. If i press my menu button on my phone i get the commands and home button.

If i press command i'm presented with all the commands if i press home i just get back my black screen.

Anyone having any ideas?

Xperia P is running Android 2.3 at the moment.

Latest version of gizmo on market and JRiver V17.0.147

Update:

It seems like it's just the icons that are missing becasue i can press on the screen and in the end start a video.

problem is i can't see what i'm choosing.

any suggestions are appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem with my Xperia P!

Controlling J River through Gizmo was one of the things i was looking forward to most when I bought my new phone  

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Same problem here with xperia u. Gizmo works perfect on two other android devices, Webgizmo is OK.
Seems that it is a general problem with recent xperia phones? (also on xperia p, xperia sola)

Hi!
Are there any news on the Gizmo problem with Sony Xperia phones? To be honest I could live with the problem, because I can use my Samsung tab (where Gizmo is great and I am very happy with it). However, I think it is a real issue that Gizmo does not work on different new Sony Xperia phones and I would have been very disappointed if I had no possibilities to use other Android devices. I suggest to at least provide a (non-) compatibility list on the Gizmo-Webpage and in the Android Play Store.

We don't have the phone, so it's hard to fix, but this report sounds like the phone doesn't like something about the icons.  Resolution or size?

Gizmo can be customized on the server.  Tools/Options/Media Network/Advanced.

Some of the images are here:
C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 18\Data\Library Server\Gizmo\Default

Maybe Sony will update the version of Android.

Thank you very much for your answer, I will "play" a little bit with resolution and size of the images. If I find a solution, of course I will post it here!
