Camera shake
« on: January 21, 2013, 03:30:31 pm »

This might be left of field, but is there any options to deal with camera shake? I have found Red October HQ so smooth and detailed that scenes in a number movies shot with a hand held camera have bad camera shake, which becomes very distracting when trying to watch a movie.

I know there are tools to reduce this for home recorded material, but is there anything that can be done to process HD video files?

Not in MC.

I regularly use the image stabilizer in Apple's Motion to do this, and it works quite well.  I've also used Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve to do it (which is better, but not that much better).  That wouldn't be useful for you, though.  I wonder if VideoReDo has similar functionality?
