MC 18 playback issues
«

I had mc18 running my media system(central server with multi HTPCs) with out an issue for some time. Never tweaked anything or messed with settings.
Out of the blue the following issues have arisen
1) Unable to select DVD menus on any of the HTPCs ( I can on the server)
2) Jittery playback on most movies that played flawlessly in the past
3) Freezing
4) Slow movie starts
I have unistalled and reinstalled the program on all computers. I have verified that the above issues are related to mc18 as none of them are an issue while using WMC. I am a little frustrated as I have invested time and money into the this program and now it seems to be falling apart for me.
Please note I have updated all drivers and always run the most stable MC18 release.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Do you have an antivirus on any of the machines (server and/or client) I once had a similar issue after my server ran a Kaspersky upgrade...just a thought.

I do have norton running on the server. All the issues go away, it seems, when I run MC18 on the network with out the Server acting as the MC 18 server if that makes sense. I get the DVD menus, the picture is normal and the program is responsive.
