You can make analyze run in background. Go to "
Tools -> Options -> Library & Folders". Make sure to activate "
Run auto-import in background" and then select "
Configure auto-import". At the lower part of the window you can select "
Analyze audio". As far as I understand, it not only analyzes files at import but also analyzes your already imported files.
Analyze uses the following tags:
- replay gain (used for song/album based volume adjustment)
- Peak level
- BPM
- Intensity
To configure how the automatic volume adjustment is used by MC go to "
Player -> DSP Studio" and select "
Volume Leveling" at the left.
