Still any interest in Kiosk Mode?
« on: January 31, 2013, 05:21:06 pm »

Been a while since I've seen anything on it. Or maybe I just missed the announcement that it's now available.

(Still keeping my fingers crossed anyway)

Granted, there's been some baby steps (party mode, additional control from theater view), but what I'd like to see is a full lockdown of the system. I set the view the way I want, I lock it down, and that's what everybody's stuck with till I release the lock. Full screen, no access to other running programs or the desktop, music only or whatever ... that kinda lockdown is what I'm talkin'bout ... just your basic click 'n play 'n nothing else interface like a jukebox.

Bonus if I get the option to point specific files to raz screens ...

"Hey, all your taste is in your socks! Pick something else!!"
"If you're not a blonde, blue eyed cheerleader, you should be ashamed!"
"Death metal? It's your fault when the place comes crashing down!"
"You're officially banned for selecting that. Leave. Leave now ..."
"That's not even old school. More like pre-school."
... and so on ...
