Expectation of Features in Short Term
« on: February 07, 2013, 05:13:35 pm »

I think, at least for those of us who paid, it would help to damper our anticipation with a feature list, even if it is a very short one, that will be implemented for in the first versions that will be released in the next couple of months.  One that I personally have in mind is whether tagging and renaming capabilities will be available or whether it is appropriate to be expected in the short term with Mac's MC?

It's not possible to say exactly what it will look like out of the gate, but within a couple of months, it will be a full featured music player.  Tagging and renaming are important features.

What really interests me is an audiophile player that offers all the features I miss in itunes. Especially the convolution feature and the support of flac files, that I desperately miss. Long talk short sense: I am very curious about the player to come.

Don't worry, all the audio goodies in our Windows version will be in the Mac version as well.

Big Words.

Methinks maybe today was a good day at the old OSX-compiler front.

Ordered mine!

Currently the filepath for all of my media files is based upon a mapped drive in windows so I am expecting that I'll be using a library server from a windows system.  Will this be expected to be supported with the early releases of MC18 Mac?

Thanks.  It's too soon to say reliably.  Network features are important.

+1
I'm also on board, and I also hope to connect to my Windows MC18 server :)
