Hello I'm running JRiver Media center (18.0.106) on my PC. My collection is on a NAS and well recognized byt JRiver. The collection is a mix of AIFF, FLAC and Wave.
When I try to play AIFF files (ripped from my cds with DBPoweramp) from the NAS to a Yamaha NP-S2000 Network player I don't have any sound and JRiver is not able to play.

If I try with another server (Logitech Squeezebox or audio UPnP DLNA server  on my NAS) it works perfectly.

For your informations, no problem with the AIFF tags : it works fine with the latest DBPoweramp Beta and tag&rename.

Do you have this problem ? Any solution ?

Could you try the troubleshooting steps I suggested? Can you play the AIFF files from a local hard drive to a local audio device? (i.e. when no NAS or DLNA device is involved)

Hello Sorry for the late answer :

1/ I can play perfectly the AIFF on a local audio device.
2/ I can read the aiff through the NAS audio feature or the squeezebox server. So it should not be a problem from the AIFF.

No solution at this time.
