With the help I've received from this forum, I've been very happily using a view of my music by date created.

That's been a tremendous tool for me.

I'm now trying to do a new view involving Jazz with a rating of 4 or better.

I'd like the view to have the same elements as the attached Date Created view (image attached).

I've also included an image showing where I am so far with my Jazz view.

Essentially, in the Jazz - 4 star (or better) view, the upper pane should be sorted first by Jazz albums which are rated four stars or higher and then by artist, all in thumbnail format, the same as the Date Created view.

The lower pane should be sorted first by artist, then by album, showing only the tracks which having ratings of four or five stars. Again, that view format would be the same as format used in the Date Created view.

I'm not sure where the Date Created script comes into play here.

I only referenced the Date Created view, and I probably wasn't clear about it, as an example of the way I'd like the information to look on the screen i.e. Upper portion would be thumbnails by artist (alphabetically) (Jazz four and five rating), lower portion would be sorted by artist (alphabetically), then album (alphabetically), with four and five rated tracks appearing beneath each album (numerically).

I don't need anything to appear with regards to the date the files were created.

Again, sorry for not being clearer about that.

Am I making sense?

Ok, sorry, I misunderstood.  Just ignore the Date Created category, and use Album Artist (auto) and Album if desired.

You're welcome.  I'm just a user like you, not with JRiver.

Rate them all 5.  Downgrade when you feel they are less worthy! :-)
