I used Acronis home 13 with the sync option. After about 14 days I was surprised with growing double entrees in MC.
Checking the music folder found that Acronis reported played music as different files and made a second entry in my music folder.
So anybody using this option be aware.

Playing music should not change the file dates.

Can you reproduce this?  What types of files are you playing?
