I have (some time ago) deleted "Images" and "Videos" from the nagigation tree (or whatever it's called) on the left side of MC. Is there some way to get them back as they were?

No, they will not come back by checking options -> general -> features... because they were never disabled, they were deleted (right click -> delete)

It's in the View menu.  View / Add View / Reset to Default

I was looking at this... but was afraid it would do what it promises: Restore ALL views back to default. It did  :'(

If that isn't what you want, you can restore a backup.  MC makes them automatically.  File/Library/Restore
