I have been using the latest version of MC17. I decided to try MC18. When I try to play youtube videos in Theatre view, all I receive are errors saying something went wrong with playback. I tried changing many settings like WASAPI, wave out, ASIO etc. When I switch a setting, the first you tube video I try to play will sometimes work, but the everyone after that will fail. Then I change another setting, and again that first video I try will sometimes work, but others would fail. MC17 would play all the videos all the time on the same PC, but MC18 will not. I thought maybe it was my PC, so I installed MC18 on 2 other PC's and youtube videos will not play on any of them.

Is there something I am missing? Why will MC17 play youtube videos when MC18 will not.

Please help.

I'm seeing the same thing on two different PC's.  Version 18.094.

18.0.97 is at the top of this board.  It's worth trying.

18.0.97 is the version I have installed that will not play youtube videos. At least I know that it's not on my end. I am sure JRiver will sort it out soon in an up coming update.

I just installed 18.0.100 on two systems and I'm still having the same issue.  As I recall, this happened a while back and it was the result of youtube changing something on their website.

Has anyone got a fix for this?

I am running 18.0.106 and having troubles with this. The videos play fine in regular view but not in theater view.

YouTube changed their site.

The next build of MC18 should support the changes.
