Have you imported the file?

Use File - Library - Import and use the browse button to point to the drive:\folder where it exists...

When I do an Import of one particular file with JRiver MC17 using file import and directing it to the particular file I want to import, when I hit finish it gives me a message.

Imported zero files

Skipped 15 files ( Previously determined to be bad files.)

If you follow the link called "Getting Started" in my signature, you will find a topic in our wiki on importing files.

If it says zero files, then  either the file has already been imported (try a search), or the settings for import don't include the filetype, or the file is bad..

It keeps telling me I have 15 previously determined bad files. If they are bad files  why will they all load To ITunes and play perfectly?

I just paid for a loaded JRiver and get the very same message 21000 files previously determined to be bad.  Did you ever get a fix for this?  Foobar plays them no problem.

Please provide more details about what type of files, where they're stored, version of MC you're using, etc.

If you're using a NAS drive, try importing a few local files.

Thanks, Files are either AIFF or WAV.  Most are at 44100 HZ, some at 48000 HZ.  JRiver only imports 400 files and tells me 21000 were previosly determined as bad.  FOO and iTunes has not problem with any of the files.  Files are stored on an external Seagate 3TB drive thru USB3 connection.  I have spent a great deal of time on this and nothing seems to work.
