Houston, I have a problem. I bought a Pioneer BDP-150 Blueray player where I can transmit a DSD bitstream through the HDMI output. My idea is to use the HDMI input on my ASUS HDAV 1.3 Deluxe and and use jriver to convert the SACD (DSD) into 192 khz PCM and use  the RCA analog output on the soundcard. Im running a HTPC, Win 7 Home premium 64bit.  I read things like using wasapi and a loop back feature but then I get stuck. I also read that jriver should not be associated with the point where you do the capture. Can someone help me?

Very simple : will and cannot work ! The HDAV simply cannot decode nor handle DSD input in any form. Actually no actual pc soundcard accepts dsd over hdmi. The only hardware accepting it are either external dac's (over usb mostly)  or selected AV receivers over HDMI
