Hi all. I"ve tried to find an answer to this but not having much luck. Might be because I am new to this.

I go and "rip" a dvd in MC18 and when it goes to play I get "This disc is not formatted to play in this region".

What am I doing wrong and what should I be doing?

If the disc has protection, MC will not be able to rip it.

You might investigate AnyDVD or DVDFab Passkey.
