Hi,

I have MC17 playing via USB to an external DAC for stereo and via HDMI direct to a Pioneer SC-LX83 for multi-channel. I have no problems with ripped music or movies, regardless of sample rate and bit depth.

However, whenever I try to play a DVD-A disc, I am not able to play the AOB files in the 'Audio_TS' directory. The discs have always worked fine in a Pioneer 868 DVD-A player, but this is now wearing out and I do not want to waste cash replacing it unnecessarily (it is only used for DVD-A playback in multichannel or 192 stereo).

I have a large (ish) collection of DVD-A discs and do not want to rip them all to my NAS (space and time are issues - I spent forever ripping my CD collection of several thousand discs). Besides, I like all the photos, lyrics etc I can access as I play the DVD-A's.

Is there a way to make MC17 (or MC18, when I upgrade) play these discs?
