Exit MC when PC sleeps
« on: April 07, 2013, 10:44:45 am »

I'm having a few issues with MC restoring properly after the PC has restored from sleep. Sometimes the remote looses focus, sometimes it doesn't run full screen. I think the best way to sort this is to exit MC when I put the computer to sleep (I don't power off). Any easy way to do this? I can program my universal remote if needed. Also how do I then automatically run MC once the computer comes out of sleep (again I can use a remote command for this)
Any ideas please? I've got everything else (I think) now working, just this to sort before I purchase it :)

You might be able to use Windows Scheduler for this, using the event:

Trigger:
Begin the task: On an Event
Log: System
Source: Kernel-Power
Event ID: 42

Have scheduler run the command:

   mc18.exe /mcc 20007

I haven't tested that this works.
