Choppy playback
«

Hi Folks
I just installed the latest Alpha of MC for Mac -- playback is choppy, definitely not right. Any suggestions? Things are working fine with Pure Music and Decibel so I'm assuming the issue is with MC.
Many thanks

You probably want to explain a bit about your setup. For example
Type of files
How many files
What machine you're on and are you running other apps at the same time
Are the files local or on a network drive
What music playback device are you using
What version of MC are you running?
These will help people give you some suggestions.

Are you using the default audio card in the Mac, or an external one. If external, is it a DLNA network device?

I am having a similar problem in the last two builds (168-169) - lots of skipping within tracks. Am using DNLA (PS Audio DAC and Bridge) and am now using the wizard-set Audiophile settings. Help me Mr. Wizard.
