Help with my issue with the Player & YouTube videos
« on: April 14, 2013, 09:38:24 pm »

To recap, I have not been able to play YouTube videos with the internal Player for some time now. CTRL + Click also does not work. The MC computer I use is a home-built that replaced a Dell I was using previously. The Dell has been sitting, powered off, for a few months (since the "migration"). I decided to power it up and see if it has the same problem and it does not! It is running 18.0.158 so I uninstalled 18.0.166 from the main MC computer and I installed 18.0.158 and I still have the problem. So it is something with the main MC computer. Attached are the Logs from both computers. Hopefully they will reveal something useful.

Thanks.

Just tried a few videos, everything okay here, build 18.0.166. Did you compare the video settings and browser engine settings between the two computers?

Change the browser engine to internet explorer. Chrome seems broken at the moment.

The browser is configured as IE on both computers. I restored the same Library & Settings backup on both machines so the MCs should be the same.
