No sound when playing Blu-ray
« on: May 21, 2013, 03:32:19 am »

I connect through HDMI to Marantz AV 8003 AV processor and JRiver MC detect AV 8003. Video is good, but No sound. So I'd like to know the Audio setting for DTS HD Master audio sound playback.
Acrosoft TMT is ok for my system, but I can't play sound through JRiver MC.

Have you set up the audio output in JRiver to use the HDMI?

Today I succeed in replaying Blu-ray DTS HD MA sound. Problem is bitstream. After uncheck bitstream in audio setup, sound replay is ok. My question is that AV receiver said Digital PCM , so probably JRiver MC decode DTS HD MA and send signal through PCM. Maybe Bitstream through HDMI is not complete in JRiver MC.

There should be no problem bitstreaming if you have set up everything correctly. Please read the Wiki.
However, unless you have the DTS decoder from Arcsoft (dtsdecoderdll.dll) installed in your system, MC will only decode the core DTS (NOT DTS-HD MA) to send to your receiver.
